Contrary to what people may say, the desk area is extremely important to work flow. For this reason I went with the "Intelligent Designs XPlatform" Modular office collection. It is not really intended for home use, but then again neither are my servers. The pieces were purchased from Staples, they are in the "Commerical Grade", "Modular Office Collection", section.
Chairmats are items that cannot be overlooked as well (perticularly since this room is carpeted), when purchasing I made sure to get Anti-Static Chairmats in the largest size available.
